 CAMPUS LEADERSHIP

Occupying one of the key, formal leadership positions in the district, the campus principal is in charge of a large, diverse group of faculty members that are educated and at times "firmly entrenched". We shed light on the principles of great leaders and how you can use them on your campus to effectively lead your teachers in achieving district and campus goals.

You will improve your leadership skills by:

•  Examining why Trust and Integrity are the foundation of an effective leader.

•  Highlighting Communication skills and why they are vitally important.

•  Showcasing effective Motivational techniques and why they are so important.

•  Exploring valid Mentoring skills and why they are invaluable to a successful campus.

…[L]eadership is not so much the exercise of power itself as it is the empowerment of others.

- Warren Bennis and Burt Nanus
