 DISTRICT LEADERSHIP

The school district's Board of Trustees is the target of one of our programs. This corporate body is often composed of members of various social, cultural, and economic backgrounds. They must, however, work as a team along with the district's superintendent. We have designed an interactive presentation to aid board members in improving their leadership skills, in conjunction with their superintendent, so that they can effectively lead their district in achieving their goals.

The second program is designed for superintendents, their assistants, and central administrators. This presentation is geared to give district leaders the ammunition needed to effectively lead their support staff and campus principals.

In order to accomplish the above we will:

•  Explore why INTEGRITY is the foundation of Leadership.

•  Highlight how constant SELF IMPROVEMENT is essential to Leadership.

•  Illustrate why COMMUNICATION is integral to effective Leadership and shed light on good communication techniques.

•  Discuss and Model MOTIVATION'S role in effective Leadership and outstanding techniques to Motivate.

•  Address the essentials of MENTORING and discuss how a team or district will founder without a valid mentoring program.
